The Story of Aw Pottery
Every great piece has a story—and ours began over 80 years ago in the small Malaysian village of Machap. In the 1940s, Aw Eng-Kwang started with little more than skilled hands and a passion for pottery. What began with simple clay creations grew into one of Malaysia's most respected pottery studios, known for handcrafted ceramics, iconic architectural projects, and visitors from around the world.
Today, that legacy continues at AW Pottery Atlanta. As a fifth-generation family business, we proudly bring one of the Southeast's largest collections of handcrafted pottery to Atlanta. Our pots, urns, planters, and vases are sourced directly from trusted family factories and artisans in Malaysia, China, and Vietnam, alongside carefully selected fountains, stone sculptures, bird baths, porcelain, bamboo, and garden décor.
Every ceramic piece is kiln-fired for lasting beauty and made to be enjoyed through every season. More than a pottery store, AW Pottery Atlanta is the next chapter of a family tradition built on craftsmanship, creativity, and a love for timeless design. We hope every piece you take home becomes part of your own story.
